Every dinner at König Ludwig is a special occasion. We therefore ask you to come to dinner in elegant attire: Gentlemen in long trousers with shirt or polo shirt and ladies in a stylish outfit. Thank you very much!

Our guests are singles, couples, friends as well as families with teenagers from the age of 14 years on.

We would like to ask you to inform us about allergies and intolerances in advance so that we can prepare your stay in the best possible way. At our breakfast buffet, you can find gluten-free baked goods, lactose-free dairy products as well as a variety of vegan foods. Of course, we also take your needs into account in our evening menu. For us, it is self-evident to cook without additives such as glutamate or similar additives. We do not use wheat flour as a binding agent in soups and sauces.

Should you have any further wishes that you would like our kitchen team to cater for, we ask for your understanding that this will result in increased expenditure, which we will charge at € 12,- per day. In order to be able to cater to you to the full extent, we would like to discuss your needs in detail in a personal conversation. We are happy to discuss this on site on the day of arrival or by telephone before your stay.

It is also possible to arrive at our Hotel König Ludwig in Schwangau by train – your destination station is Füssen. As a service, we will of course organize your pick-up (for a fee) and of course have you brought back to the train station in Füssen on the day of departure!

We offer above-ground parking spaces for free and also underground parking spaces for € 8.00 per day. On request, we are happy to park your car for you.  If you own an electric car, you can recharge your car at our two electric charging points against a fee.

As soon as you stay with us at the König Ludwig, you can enjoy the view from the mountains Tegelberg, Breitenberg and Buchenberg at a lower price.

You can buy the tickets at the reception. The tickets are valid for both directions: up and down.

To allow you to use your arrival day as a holiday day, your room is ready for you from 3.00 p.m.  As soon as you can check in to your room, you can also use our SPA area. On the day of departure, we kindly ask you to leave your room by 10:30 a.m. at the latest. You can relax in our Ludwig SPA until 3.00 p.m. free of charge.

Use the entire 6,600 m² Ludwig SPA at König Ludwig for a perfect day and start with a fantastic breakfast!

In the König Ludwig Day SPA you can relax in our bathing and sauna area by prior arrangement and let your soul unwind in the various oases of peace. Here you can swim in the open air with a view of the Allgäu mountains – in summer and winter. Enjoy the fantastic view and swim lengths in the heated outdoor sports pool. Relax in the heated outdoor hot tub in the lake. Experience the many relaxing features in our indoor pool. Feel the freedom in the 1500 m² natural swimming lake. You can do good for yourself and your health in a wide variety of saunas. Our sauna masters will delight you with effective infusions and ceremonies. Our own sauna pond with unobstructed mountain views ensures the perfect cooling down. Soothing and effective treatments and body treatments make the day SPA day really perfect.

When you visit our Ludwig SPA, you will have access to a bathrobe, terry slippers, towels, wellness bag, locker, hairdryer, and much more. m. available for free use. Use of all pools, natural swimming lakes, saunas and steam baths

A free cancellation or one-time free rebooking of your confirmed booking is possible up to 2 days in advance. If you cancel after this period, the hotel reserves the right to charge you 50% of the total amount.

It is more convenient to leave your bike at home and to use our in-house bike rental. To enable you unlimited cycling fun, we offer various bikes.

You got married? Congratulations from the bottom of our hearts to your wedding. For all those who tie the knot, we give you a 5% discount on your booking. On presentation of your marriage certificate, which may not be older than 6 months, you will receive this discount as a small gift.

We would also be happy to welcome your dog to the König Ludwig. In order to make your stay as comfortable as possible, we ask that you adhere to the following regulations:

• We are happy to provide a dog cushion as well as a food bowl and a dog towel for your four-legged friend.
• Please note that it is mandatory to keep on a leash throughout the entire hotel complex.
• In front of the hotel entrance you will find a small cleaning area for your dog. You are welcome to get another dog towel at reception.
• Room cleaning can only take place if the owner is present or if you and your dog are not in the room. We ask that you hang the sign with the hook on the door as soon as we are allowed to clean the room. As soon as your dog is in the room, we ask that you hang the sign with the cross on the door. Please understand that we will not clean your room if your dog is alone in the room.
• Your dog is welcome to come to our lobby, our Lilien Lounge & Bar by the lake and our wellness park. Please understand that your dog is not allowed in the ponds and pools. Dogs are also not allowed to visit the restaurant and the SPA.
• We will be happy to provide you with the number of a veterinarian at reception.
• We allow ourselves to charge €40 per dog per day.

Several times a week, we welcome you to our Lilien Lounge & Bar at the lake for piano or bar jazz evenings.

We ask for your understanding that smoking is only allowed outdoors in our resort. You will find our smoking Lounge in our Lilien Lounge & Bar.

To give you the possibility to enjoy your last day with us to the full, you can use our SPA area until 3.00 p.m. for free. You can change comfortably in our changing rooms and store your belongings safely in lockers.

We are glad to be able to offer you tickets for the royal castles.

To avoid unnecessary queuing and waiting time at the ticket centre, you can reserve your desired guided tour at our reception in advance.(handling fee of the ticket centre € 2.50 per person).

You can pay your hotel bill on the day before your departure until 10:00 p.m. and from 7:00 a.m. on the day of departure. Payment is made on site in cash, with giro card, Visa or Mastercard.
