Our ground unfolds like a stage in front of the breathtaking backdrop of the mountain Tegelberg with its fairytale castle and the local mountain of Schwangau – the Säuling.
Schwangau
Far beyond the borders, Schwangau is known as the village of the royal castles. Here, King Ludwig II of Bavaria made his royal dream come true with the castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau.
The lakeland
The crystal clear waters in combination with mountain peaks and lush green meadows characterize the Allgäu lakescape. In winter as well as in summer the many lakes – the Forggensee, the Alpsee, the Bannwaldsee, the Hopfensee, the Weißensee as well as the Schwansee – have their charms.

Only 5 km from Schwangau, the small medieval town of Füssen is enchanting. The baroque monastery complex, city walls and fortified towers as well as the Italian flair of the winding old town are worth a visit.
